In Isles de Taylor, 265 elected representitives go to Dreisendorf every week to attend Congress.
Congress is elected using Mixed Member Proportional Representation, using two ballot papers. The first ballot paper has the names of all of the candidates standing in a constituency. The elector (voter) picks their preferred candidates in order of first preference to last preference. The first candidate to receive more than 50% of the vote goes to represent the constituency. However, the losing candidates get a second chance, the second ballot paper which lists every party running candidates. Each elector picks a favourite party. The more votes a party gets, the more seats they get.
For a party to be elected, they need at least 135 seats in Commons Congress. Parties can form coalitions to serve in government.
In 2018, the seats were distributed as follows:

Democratic Unionist Group - 93 (Coalition Leader Party)
Conservative Unionist Party - 78 (Opposition Party)
Liberal Unionist League - 40 (Coalition Support Party)
UnitedFuture - 22 (Coalition Support Party)
Green Party of Isles de Taylor - 11 (Coalition Support Party)
Veritas Party of Isles de Taylor - 7 (Neutral Party)
Isles de Taylorian Libertarian Party - 7 (Neutral Party)
Isles de Taylor First - 6 (Opposition Support Party)
The next election is due in 2022.
