The Tayro is Isles de Taylor's main unit of currency. On this forum, you gain 20 Tayros for every post you make. You can use Tayros to buy things for yourself like a licence to own a football team, licence to build in certain areas etc. The more Tayros you have, the richer you become and the more posts you make, the more Tayros you get. Simples.
I forgot to mention the top right corner. That is where you use Tayros.
The furthest left represents the bank, where you deposit and withdraw money.
The middle left represents donations. Where you can accept or decline donations.
The middle right represents the shop. Oooh! The shop is where you can buy things to help you buy stuff to improve your time here.
The furthest right represents the Gift/Trade Requests. That is to accept or reject Gift or Trade requests.
